The sanctuary is open to visitors Tuesday - Sunday (only pre-arranged field trips can be accommodated on Mondays). Please make a reservation for your preferred day and time on the SCHEDULE link below. A reservation is for one car that includes 4-5 visitors or less, as our parking is limited. If you have a large group, please make reservations for each group of 4-5 people. Please contact Jen Nil at jen@sammamishanimalsanctuary.org for more information.

Here are some things to know to make your visit even more fun and enjoyable for all:

  • We have treat buckets available on-site for feeding the animals (a small donation is appreciated). The food is selected for the health of the animals and cut into small pieces to avoid choking hazards. For the safety and well-being of the animals, please do not give the animals any other food, even if they try to convince you otherwise! 😉 We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

  • We do not charge to visit our rescue, allowing everyone a chance to visit with the animals. We do appreciate donations as we are a non-profit sanctuary and depend on the generosity of our visitors.

  • If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible. This allows others to reserve your slot and enjoy the farm.

Our primary concern here at Sammamish Animal Sanctuary is the health and well-being of our rescue animals. These animals are here on the ranch to seek refuge from unfortunate situations and live out the rest of their lives. Their purpose is not to be exploited for entertainment purposes. We are open to the public for educational purposes and to raise awareness of mistreatment of animals. Please refrain from running, screaming, chasing animals, and creating loud noises.  Frequently Asked Questions.

  • There’s no need to let us know if you are going to be late or leave early.

    Your two-hour shift is yours to use as you please.

  • If you are unable to make your reservation, please cancel as soon as possible so others can enjoy a visit.

  • Our facility is mostly flat and will accommodate wheelchairs and strollers.

  • We do provide treats for a small donation that helps us care for our animals. For the health and safety of our animals, we ask that you feed only the treats that we provide on-site.
